NIL Store Launches UConn NIL Poster/Merch Collection Featuring Auriemma’s Shut Up and Games Mantra

The collections, which feature cartoon versions of each player, are a unique way for fans to directly support the players with every sale.

The UConn women’s basketball collection, named the “Shut Up and Win Games Tour,” was born from head coach Geno Auriemma’s epic interview over the summer. [Watch]

Said Auriemma: “This isn’t a 1970’s rock band out for their 60th tour and they have to give every tour a name. Everybody’s got ‘redeem team.’ And everybody’s got ‘reload team.’ Everybody’s got ‘unfinished business team.’ … I’m not very social media savvy. How about we just shut the f— up and win games? How about we do that? Maybe that’s what the tour should be. Shut the f— up and win games.”

The defending champion men’s basketball team’s collection, named “Everything,” is a nod to its team mantra this season as it looks to repeat in 2023-24.

This isn’t the NIL Store’s first soiree into the poster space, as it launched a wildly successful poster/merch drop for both the Indiana men’s and women’s basketball teams in the Indiana NIL Store.

ABOUT CAMPUS INK AND THE NIL STORE

Backed by Mark Cuban, Campus Ink expanded into the Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) space in 2021 and launched the NIL Store, which serves as a merchandising solution for student-athletes and schools. The NIL Store operates with the firm belief that every student-athlete has an opportunity to capitalize on their NIL. Campus Ink was founded in 1947 on the campus of the University of Illinois and was reimagined in 2015 with an office in downtown Chicago and a production facility in Urbana, Il where the company handles all of its own production and fulfillment.
