In honor of Abby Zittoun, a friend of the UConn women’s basketball team, the Huskies have designed a specialty purple jersey with the NIL Store.

Abby had an infectious, positive personality and a special bond with the UConn players. Abby courageously battled cancer for seven years and unfortunately passed away in October at 13 years old.

The jerseys are in shades of purple, one of Abby’s favorite colors, and features hearts drawn by Abby

.In honor of Abby’s impact on the team, the players of the UConn women’s basketball program have pledged to donate all of their proceeds from the purple jerseys to the Abigail Zittoun Family Foundation, which will support families of children battling serious illness.
